None of Prestigious Tax Practitioners associations,supported our initiaves and calls to unite all on All india basis. ( See communication details below)

Hon. PM Sir has noted our suggestions and forwarded it to concerned departments

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Our suggestions for recognition of GST practitioners were accepted by GST Council, except audit provisions

 

 

IFAC has allowed us to adpot Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants & Other Stadard publication for sharing with our CPA Members

 

IFRS Foundation Allowed us to share IFRS for SME's for our Members

 

 

President is  in touch with Central Council Members of ICMAI, they have acknowledged receipt of our proposal but the same is under consideration of their council.

 

 

ICA-Kolkata has signed an MOU with ICPA to develop it's CPA Certification program.

Accordingly has started the Course registrations in May, 2016. but due non availability of funds the same is on hold

 

IFAC has acknowledged us as PAO & we are eligible for it's Associate Membership type Application, Currently we are meeting it's SMO.

 

We have granted Membership in Dec,2015 but our Affiliation proposal is pending and hasn't been replied yet. we are informed that it will be brought before NEC in the next meeting.

 

They haven't shown much of interest in taking joint intiatives for ITP/STP's. Many of these institutes are run by Tax Lawyers & Other Professionals, who do not have any direct professional interest in pursuing any rights for ITP/STP's. till date no one has officially replied or approached us.

 

Talks were started with IFA-UK, IPA Australia owned IFAC member body, we have even mapped our courses but the real problems is fees

 

Later we have tried for CPA -Ireland, AICPA, IMA- USA but all replied in negative

 

Later on we have decided to develop our own content domestically and gain Internal recognitions first, hence, have Founded Global CPA Allience

Many CPA bodies from UK,Russia,Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh & Middles East have been invited

All of them have primarely accepted our proposals and are scheduled to meet soon to discuss things further.

 

 

 

 

We are have raised recognition issues of Tax Practitioners, appealed Association to come together and support us..(See our Initiatives below)

ICPA has submitted Grievance Letter to Honourable PM Sir, detailing all the problems of Independant Accountants & Tax Practitioners. We also requiested for help in setting up of Our Institute & Recognitions for CPA's 

 

 

Given Representations for recogntions of Tax Practitioners & CPA Members in various Governing Laws filed RTI's

 

 

 

Permissions were sought from IFAC regarding  Standards

 

 

 

Applied for IFRS Resources

 

 

To support our IFAC Membership application and to have a Statutory PAO to share valuable resourses and issue accreditation to our Members, ICPA Proposed a Affiliation to ICMAI

 

To Start Online CPA Certification program by a duly approved vocational training institute, ICPA has roped in ICA-Kolkata as it's Educational Partners, to develop it's skill certification in accordance with NSQF- Level 7 .

 

 We have formally expressed our Interest in getting IFAC Membership.

 

 

 

We have Applied for Institutional Membership of AIFTP & Also have proposed to work as affiliated society of AIFTP for protection of TPr's Interests. 

 

 

 

Many of these institutes operate independently & have large number of ITP/STP Members. we have repeatedly appealed them to  participate in ICPA's Initiatives &  Election process.

 

 

 

 

ICPA Initially was trying for International Affiliation with IFAC Member bodies, but Cost and Currency are the main hurdles. We have a cap of 11,000/- for Certification program and that comes to 110 UK-pounds !
