CPA Membership
A. Eligibility –
In addition to basic Condition & passing our CPA examinations, following conditions must be satisfied to become a CPA member of the ICPA
-
5 years of Experience and
-
Registered Income or Sales Tax Practitioner with a degree in commerce/Accounting/Finance/Costing/ CA(Inter) /CMA (Inter) Qualifications

Or An Advocate with a degree in commerce/Accounting/Finance/Costing/ CA(Inter) /CMA (Inter) Qualifications
Direct membership will be offered to following individuals - (without any further examinations)

Who have completed Master of Professional Accountancy or have done CPA from ICFAI University

Who is empanelled as Certified Auditor / Government/Special Auditor by Any of the State/ UT Department
B. Benefits-
The following are the few benefits [after passing exams]

He will get ICPA Membership Certificate, entitling him to use “CPA” designatory letters after his name

After completion of CPA Certification & Training He will get CPA Designation

After completion of Certification and duly satisfying experience requirements he will get a practicing certificate

He will get Member ID Card

Professional practice guide and Member Handbook
-
40 hrs. Annual CPD Guidance for professional development

He will have full voting rights in the elections of the institute and consequently can represent institute at various levels in its committees
C. Obligation & Fees –
To enrol and maintain membership
1.He needs to pay for Entrance & Membership Fees Along with Certification & Training fees
2. He has to complete CPA course within a yr, from subsequent years he has complete 40 hrs of CPD Training
3.To progress further as a fellow, he will have to be an CPA for continuous period of Three years in good standing
